Hygiene you can document, not just claim
In a clinical setting the question is never only whether textiles are clean. It is whether you can demonstrate how they were made clean, on which date, at which temperature, and who handled them afterwards. Everything about the way we process healthcare linen is designed to produce that evidence as a by-product of the work.
The European reference is UNI EN 14065, which describes RABC — Risk Analysis and Biocontamination Control. It is a methodology rather than a certificate on a wall: identify the points where contamination can enter the process, control those points, and record that the controls worked. Our plant is laid out and operated on exactly that logic.
How healthcare textiles move through our plant
Soiled linen is received, weighed and sorted on the dirty side of a physical barrier and never crosses back. Bags are handled closed wherever possible. Wash programmes include a validated thermal disinfection stage — held temperature for held time — with chemo-thermal disinfection where the fabric cannot take the heat. After the wash, textiles emerge on the clean side, are dried and finished there, inspected, then wrapped before they leave the building so they arrive protected rather than merely clean.
Each batch carries a record: what it contained, the programme it ran, the temperature achieved, the dosing delivered and the date. That record is retained and available to you.
What we process

Surgical and procedural textiles where applicable, and department-specific items. Where an item is unsuitable for reprocessing — damaged, worn beyond specification, or contaminated in a way that makes reuse inappropriate — it is removed from circulation and reported rather than quietly returned.
Reliability is a clinical requirement
A hospital cannot absorb a missed delivery the way a hotel can improvise. Collection and delivery run on fixed days with agreed volumes and an agreed buffer. Our plant holds capacity for contracted healthcare clients before it takes seasonal hospitality volume, because the consequences of failure are not symmetrical.
Indicative pricing for healthcare textiles is €1.50 to €1.95 per kilogram, reflecting the disinfection stage, the handling protocol and the documentation. Volume, frequency and distance move the figure within that range.

How much does industrial laundry cost per kilogram?
Commercial laundry in Italy is priced per kilogram of clean, dry textile. As an indication for the Rimini and Riccione area: hotel bed linen and terry €1.15–1.45/kg, restaurant table linen €1.40–1.85/kg, healthcare textiles €1.50–1.95/kg. Four things move the figure inside those ranges — volume, collection frequency, soil level and distance from the plant.
The number worth budgeting against is cost per occupied room or per cover, not per kilogram. We work that out during the free on-site survey, and the written quote is built around it.
What is your turnaround time?
Standard turnaround is 24 to 48 hours: linen collected in the morning returns on the next scheduled delivery. Collection days are fixed when the contract starts and do not move through the season.
If a property regularly needs same-day return, tell us during the survey — it usually means the circulating stock is too thin rather than that the laundry is too slow, and adding a par is cheaper than paying for express processing.
What happens if linen comes back stained or damaged?
Batches are inspected under controlled light before they are wrapped, so items with surviving stains go back for re-treatment rather than out to a guest room. If something reaches you that should not have, we collect it, reprocess it and return it at our cost.

How do I switch from my current laundry?
It is more routine than it looks. We survey the property and count the existing stock, agree collection days and par levels, run the first two weeks in parallel with your current arrangement where you want the safety margin, then take over fully.
Nothing has to happen on a changeover night, and there is no lock-in to sign before you have seen the quality of a real batch.

For very small volumes we quote a minimum per collection rather than a minimum per month, because it is usually the cheaper structure for the client. Ask and we will show you both.
