Laundry for commercial laundries, in practice

Capacity, parts and know-how for other operators

Not every client is an end user. We work with other laundries, facility management companies and multi-site operators in three ways: taking overflow volume when their own capacity runs out, supplying the equipment and chemistry they run, and reviewing processes that have stopped performing.

On this coast the seasonal curve makes the first one routine. A laundry sized for a normal week is not sized for the second week of August, and the choice is between turning work away and having somewhere to send it.

Overflow and wholesale processing

We take bulk volume at wholesale rates on agreed lead times, processed to your specification: your programmes where they matter, your folding and packing format, your labelling. Work can be returned wrapped and sorted so it goes straight out on your own vehicles without being handled again.

Arrangements can be standing — a fixed weekly tonnage — or on call for peaks and breakdowns. If a machine goes down mid-season, a route through our plant is faster to arrange than an emergency repair.

Equipment and spare parts

As an official dealer we supply washer-extractors, dryers, ironers, folders and dosing systems, and we hold fast-moving spare parts for the main European manufacturers. If you maintain your own machines, you can buy parts from us without a service contract; if you would rather not, our technical service covers scheduled maintenance and breakdown response with agreed response times.

For expansion projects, a proper survey of floor loading, water, drainage, steam and power comes before any machine is quoted — see laundry equipment.

Chemistry and process

Detergent systems specified for your water, your fabrics and your machines, with automatic dosing that stays calibrated and consumption data you can actually forecast against. See laundry chemicals.

Where throughput has plateaued, the constraint is more often the programme than the machine. Our consulting service reviews cycle times, dosing, drying curves and the flow of work through the plant, and returns a costed action plan — usually with more capacity available than a new machine would have bought.

How we work with you

Confidentially. Wholesale clients are not named as references, volumes are not discussed with anyone, and we do not approach your customers. If you want to talk about capacity for the coming season, the useful time to do it is before the season starts.

Our commitments

What you can hold us to

We opened in 2026, so we cannot point at twenty years of client logos. What we can do is put the terms in writing and be judged on them from the first collection.

01

Rewashed free, no argument

If a batch comes back with a stain that should have gone, we collect it, reprocess it and return it at our cost. You do not pay twice for the same kilogram.

02

Collection days that hold

Days are fixed when the contract starts and stay fixed through the season. If a route is ever going to be late, you hear it from us before you notice it yourself.

03

Worn linen reported, not returned

Items past their service life are pulled at inspection and listed for you monthly, so replacement is a budget line rather than a complaint at reception.

04

One named contact

A person who knows your property, your par levels and your peak weeks — reachable directly, not through a ticket queue.

05

Every batch documented

Contents, programme, temperature held and dosing delivered, recorded per batch and available to you. What an HACCP or healthcare audit asks for already exists.

06

Leave when you want to

No lock-in period and no exit penalty. A laundry contract should be kept by performance, and we would rather find out early if we are not earning it.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Which industries do you serve?

We provide professional industrial laundry solutions for hotels, restaurants, hospitals, healthcare facilities, nursing homes and other commercial businesses throughout Emilia-Romagna.

What makes ECOWASH different from other industrial laundries?

We operate with the latest generation of laundry equipment, use environmentally responsible processes, and focus on extending textile lifespan while maintaining exceptional cleaning quality and consistent results.

Do you offer linen rental services?

Yes. We provide flexible linen rental solutions, including bed linen, towels, bathrobes, tablecloths, blankets and other textiles tailored to your business requirements.

Do you provide equipment installation and technical support?

Yes. As an official dealer of premium industrial laundry equipment, we offer installation, preventive maintenance, repairs and ongoing technical support for our customers.

Can you handle large volumes of laundry?

Our modern production facility is designed to process up to 8,000 kg of laundry per day, ensuring reliable service even for high-volume commercial operations.

How can I request a consultation or partnership?

Contact our team by phone, email or through the form on this site. We will discuss your business needs and recommend the most suitable laundry solution for your operation.

How much does industrial laundry cost per kilogram?

Commercial laundry in Italy is priced per kilogram of clean, dry textile. As an indication for the Rimini and Riccione area: hotel bed linen and terry €1.15–1.45/kg, restaurant table linen €1.40–1.85/kg, healthcare textiles €1.50–1.95/kg. Four things move the figure inside those ranges — volume, collection frequency, soil level and distance from the plant.

The number worth budgeting against is cost per occupied room or per cover, not per kilogram. We work that out during the free on-site survey, and the written quote is built around it.

What is your turnaround time?

Standard turnaround is 24 to 48 hours: linen collected in the morning returns on the next scheduled delivery. Collection days are fixed when the contract starts and do not move through the season.

If a property regularly needs same-day return, tell us during the survey — it usually means the circulating stock is too thin rather than that the laundry is too slow, and adding a par is cheaper than paying for express processing.

What happens if linen comes back stained or damaged?

Batches are inspected under controlled light before they are wrapped, so items with surviving stains go back for re-treatment rather than out to a guest room. If something reaches you that should not have, we collect it, reprocess it and return it at our cost.

Items that are worn, thinning or torn are pulled at inspection and listed for you monthly, so replacement becomes a budget line rather than a complaint at reception.

How do I switch from my current laundry?

It is more routine than it looks. We survey the property and count the existing stock, agree collection days and par levels, run the first two weeks in parallel with your current arrangement where you want the safety margin, then take over fully.

Nothing has to happen on a changeover night, and there is no lock-in to sign before you have seen the quality of a real batch.

Is there a minimum volume or a lock-in period?

No lock-in period and no exit penalty. A laundry contract should be kept by performance, and we would rather find out early if we are not earning it.

For very small volumes we quote a minimum per collection rather than a minimum per month, because it is usually the cheaper structure for the client. Ask and we will show you both.
